Hardware is what holds your entire garage door. That includes, screws, brackets, weather seal, extension bars, and other custom electronic parts. Any small parts that you may see broken or bent, it is recommended to have it replaced to keep up the longevity of the garage door. If your garage door parts are functioning as they should, and are in good working shape, yet you are experiencing ‘sluggish’ or ‘jumpy’ garage door, you may need to re-tighten all the hardware, in some cases even re-enforced for high usage, such as expanding screw size, adding 2×4 bar support etc.
